Bought mine about a month ago, best phone I have ever used. Its fast has a decent cam, removable battery, Micro Sd card slot and the list goes on as above.

If you get one have a look the stuff the guys at XDA have done with these XDA they have made some awsome Cabs and custom roms.

I use its big brother the Pro2 and have sold a heap of HD2's. Everyone who has them love them, especially the ex iphone users.

Checkout XDA Dev site that has a very active ROM development. The first thing you do is wipe the device, get rid of the Telstra bloatware and put on the EnergyROM.

You cannot buy a better phone ont he market today.

Hey tab,

Nice device. We have sent a few out to our Microsoft Executive trial customers - and they were all happy. Make sure you sign up to the HTC E-Club. I'm sure when Microsoft decides to release the WiMo 7 OS, HTC will post it there! Also, with what ZAP said - XDA Developers, I'm a member there and the cooked ROM's on that website are unbelievable! You might find that the battery doesn't last as-long, that's because all the processes running in the background and poor development from the network carriers branding team. A cooked ROM will fix that!

BTW- Sorry to hi-jack the thread, but ZAP where you do work?

Apparently when it's ringing and you place it face-down on a flat surface it stops...that feature will get the most use. :w00t2:

Yeah that motion sensor technology was developed in the era of the Diamond. You have a game that demonstrates it extremely well! F'd if I remember the name of the game though.

not the best phone yet. I reckon wait another 6 months. The HTC is like the new google phone or the first iphone out.. alot of bugs that need sorting..

I recommend the 3gs iphone for browsing.. otherwise stick to your phone till your set for a htc version II :)

I have used nearly all the features and havent had a single problem...

htc have been making phones for a long time...

where as apple had the pc (which isnt very popular) and the I pod... that's it... phones were new tech...

the greatest thing is if it does cark it... with my provider I have a full insurance and full warranty cover or 2 years...

you made a good choice tabby!!!!
