This all points to a coupe in my estimation - keep your fingers crossed boys and girls ...

Guest BOSS290 Guests Posted 09/10/03 12:12 PM Share Posted 09/10/03 12:12 PM No-one has mentioned Escape. With territory coming what would they do with this vehicle? I have been informed that this vehicle will be staying & dealers will be happy with the escape lineup.
mickq Member 740 Member For: 21y 10m 18d Posted 13/10/03 12:29 PM Share Posted 13/10/03 12:29 PM I reckon its about Ford selling SVT F150 Lightening pickups here. (Probably as a FPV F150 Lightening or similar. 10 were seen at the docks in Melbourne last week. All in a weird green colourFor those who dont know, these trucks were a limted edition (300 made) pickup truck for the US market. Very, very hard to get your hands on one as the limited edition ones tend to be pre-sold to "connected" people.Pickups may not sound exciting to most, but having driven one on a track, I can tell you they are amazing: dont be fooled by the looks. They handle on a track better than most normal sporty cars - the suspension is amazing for the type of vehicle it is.The engine from memory was a 5.6 litre supercharged monster. Made for a great drive: can you imagine beating a WRX in a huge 2 tonne pickup? Try 0-100 in 5.6 seconds in the auto. Also, anyone heard rumours of Expensive Daewoo working on a 6 cylinder twin turbo? I heard that from someone at Expensive Daewoo a week or so ago. (And dont be worried: a well setup single turbo will usually drive much better than a dual sequential turbo setup - ask any turbo expert). Although they could be two smaller turbos pumping at the same time.
