Hmmm Maybe they'll make an announcement that they'll be selling the new Mustang (the concept one, that I recon is the sexiest car I have ever seen) In australia next year (or 2005). That'd be pure class :)

But I wouldn't be suprised if the Falcon Series II lineups are announced.

If they EVER went Front Wheel Drive for a large family car like the Falcon they can root my boot!!!

If they are that STOOOOOOPID to do that they deserve to go out of business....

I would speculate that Mack is stirring the pot!

......Wonders.....ponders.......thinks some more......turns the pages of his picture mag......ponders some more......throws in the possibility of expanding FPV to be a serious competitor of HSV by releasing more than just 2 models of car, let's face it the pursuit ute is just a GT ute. Bring back some power, and get some balls!!!

Bring accross a new version of the 400 clevo or the 460 even. Bring the GT40, bring a Mustang that actualy has some nucking futs.

Im pretty sure if only the dealer principals are going there that the subject would be purely on marketing. Either the lack of, or the fact that the dealers could sell more than the factory could provide.

The problem with Ford is the RJV. The Retail Joint Venture are Ford Company owned sites that have Dealer Principles appointed to run the show.

The other Ford sites are held by Franchisee's who also have other franchises on their yard.

If you were appointed to run a yard by the company, are you going to be critical of their marketing, manufacturing and development?

If you owned the business and selling cars put food in YOUR mouth and the mouths of your employees would you have the guts to constructively criticise the Company.

I would answer (B) because the franchise is you personal risk and livelihood. If you were company appointed you at least have good credentials when you go looking for another job at another company!

Maybe Ford are going to bring the GT (40) here

Would be nice but It'll never happen methinks.

Just maybe, looking at the sales success of the Monaro (Spiiiitt) a release of a Coupe? :innocent:
