Hey Guys,

I have just finished wiring a carputer to my car and I have come across a small problem. I am connecting a relay to trigger the inverter to turn on when the car is put onto reds. I need a feed in to let the relay know when to let the power pass. where do you guys recommend I should get the feed from.

Crack out the test light. There are a few plugs under the dash on the drivers side that have supply but if its in the boot try the wires on the passenger side with the amp etc.

Its only a trigger so all should be ok.

Nuh I just tapped into the positive wire of the lighter and my earth is on a bolt under the dash on the passenger side. Get a multi meter on it see it there is any voltage there, if not check the fuses as you may have blown it accidently when working on it.
