Hi all,

I'm looking at buying some King Springs for my BA xr6 turbo.

The model numbers are

PART NUMBERS:-

FRONT: KFFL-57

REAR: KFRL-68SSL

if I buy them, do I have to buy new shocks at the front or can I get away with using the factory shocks?

has anyone just used the springs on the standard shocks before? is so, how does it ride and perform in all weather conditions?

regards,

ry

If your shocks are okay now, they`ll be okay with new springs.

The Kings Springs with the part number you have there I understand have a more progessive wind to the coil but aren`t particularly heavier than stock.

If you`re just after a nicer look, it`ll all be good.

Mate has those same coils ( he might have SL`s on the front ) of his BF MkII XR8 with the stock shocks and its all rosy.

Depends on the klms you car has on it, maybe you might consider upgrading while your under there.

Speak to pat Senna_t wholesale suspension he will hook you up with the goods and good advice.

Depends what you are after? Looks or performance. Looks just go the springs. Performance and looks upgrade both. I went with king springs and bilsteins.

Pat will look after ya!

ok sweet....what about about performance?

if I put those springs into my factory shocks, will it ride better?

will is maneuver better?

will it be bumpier?

how will the car be upon braking?

will it make the car stick to the road?

soz for all the questions....just want to know some things before buying

cheers

That he will. Wholesale Suspension have the range to cover pretty much anything you`d wanna do, and you get a discount.

Best part is, Pat has a car like yours - ours , so he knows..
