We have cars around the 300 rwkw area that show no signs of fuel pump lacking on a dyno run, but on the road a blast through the gears is enough for the weakness to show.

For the $150 for a Fuel pump its cheap insurance... Least then when you want more power in the future you one step ahead... :beerchug: And you will want more power ... we all do... Get ready to start buying the misses gifts to hide all the mods you been buying. :buttonit:

I'm going to go against the grain here and say the factory pump should be fine at 300RWKW.

Our Territory dynoed at 432.9AWHP on the standard fuel pump. Later ran an 11.8 @ 116mph which translates to a weight shifted power of in excess of 600HP or 450KW.

My stock fuel pump ran out of puff at 300kw. As others have said, it will work but it’s not safe. You don’t want your engine leaning out. The dyno graph shows the fuel pressure steady until about 296kw then just leans out. Tuner left it at 290 until I upgraded. Some cars a freaks though and will make 330 with a stock pump.

Better off getting one. I decided to leave the stock one and go with an 044 and surge tank under the bonnet. Sounds awesome when it’s running. I’ve even had someone say there’s something wrong with my car
