the stock system you already have will flow better than 90% of the 3" exhausts out there

I've removed the centre muffler on mine and want someone a little bigger for better flow...

do you reckon the xr8 exhaust will fit my xr6 turbo?

You will need to go to an exhaust shop to get a collector made up from the twin 2 1/4 down to 3". You would probably be better off going to 3.5" though as the 3" will probably only flow the same, if not less then the factory system.

Fit a high flow cat behind the factory exhaust and you will easily see high 200's maybe even low 300's.

I had a full mach 1 stainless 3" cat back exhaust fitted and made 307rwkw....Replaced the centre muffler with a Hooker Aero Chamber one which increased the flow....had a 3" high flow cat fitted too..This kit is for sale if anyones interested.. :turboboink:

I have the same exhaust as you with a cheap aftermarket cat and have 308rwkw, plenty have more power with the stock exhaust and a decent cat.

a 3" pipe is a step backwards over the stock system
