BA turbo sedan, im redoing the parcel tray and putting 4 speakers in it. I want to replace the 5x7 with 6x9s and run the 6x9s and 2 subs with an amp and have the other 2 speakers next to 6x9s which run from standard head unit can this be done??? will sound come out of 6x9s which are running from aftermarket amp?? and still have standard xr amp running speakers?

So u want to run 2 sets of 6x9's in the rear shelf and 2 subs in the boot? Is there a reason for it? Either way its overkill dude... If you had no subs then get 6x9's cause they give good bass, but since your putting in 2 subs just put some 6", 6.5" or even a direct replacement 5x7.. Get some good components up front and run those off the amp and leave the rears as is (with the better speakers)

I agree.

My advice is spend the most $$$ you can afford on front speakers, then 1 or 2 subs in rear, then dynamat the car.

If you just want noise I guess but I can vouch the above will out perform all day in done correctly.
