I have replaced intercooler with hybrid unit piping included and the map sensor that was in the stock cooler pipe which ran under the battery, does that need to go back onto pipe work?? and if so which pipe ( cold or hot side) and at the top of the sensor it has a hose connector where does the hose plug into??

On the cold side piping, the kit should have come with an adaptor to mount it back down to the standard location and a length of hose to connect it to the piping.

Needs to go back on, otherwise your ECU won't know what boost is being produced.

Cheers,

Ben

Sensor gets bolted back under the battery, the kit would have come with a bolt and a block to fix the sensor back into the single bolt hole that secures the factory UBP. The length of re-inforced hose then runs from the sensor to the nipple that has been tig welded onto the cold side piping.

If you have bought the kit 2nd hand, you may have trouble finding the adaptor block for the sensor if it didn't come with it.
