Posted 12/03/10 07:29 AM Share Posted 12/03/10 07:29 AM As others have said, if you haven't got any better offers take it. Management doesn't just look good on a resume, but also things like applying for credit and home loans at some point. Shows you are responsible and can be trusted. Things ranging from not turning up after partying the night before (giving you no notice) to the boys trying to root their female coworkers will all be part and parcel of the job. Sometimes it feels like your a baby sitterAs Tab said, tolerance and plenty of patience. I have one teenager working for me and he goes through so many different stages its not funny. Few months ago he was an emo goth and now he's trying to be your typical liverpool Chav. Some days he's ok and other days he's useless as tits on a bull. I've had 3 teeangers working for me and only one was brilliant. His olds taught him valuable work ethic early on in life. Sadly he left for study.Give me a decent mature age employee any day of the week. One who cares not for the bullsh*t but one who puts in a fair days work for a fair days pay. Like late at night and weekends.
