Hi guys, I've been trawling around for a while, but having a bit of trouble finding some good advice on what to expect from a custom tune only on my new f6. I had a bf xr6 turbo I got to 285 rwkw with tune, injectors and fuel pump. I've been told the f6 runs about 250rwkw, and a remap alone should get it to about 300. does this sound right? She's an auto, and I managed to wreck the clutch in the bf xr6 with just a generic tune, so hopefully won't have any issues with the f6, she's a slushbox :dontknow:

I'm on the central coast, so I'd be driving to sydney. I've used C&V in the past and been happy, but they're a 2 hour drive, so looking at other options, maybe

Thanks in advance for the advice

ps she's number 0772, I think, might double check that in the morning

think 300 may b a bit of a stretch for nothing but a tune, but if I was only 2 hours from CV they r def the ppl d b takeing it to.

2 hours to get a tune right is 2 hours well spent

EDIT: especially threw an auto

Hey Mate,

You shouldn't have any problems getting 300rwkw with just at tune. Most FG F6's I have seen run 270rwkw plus standard. Mine was 280rwkw standard and after PW cooler and Tune it made over 325rwkw. So 300 from a tune should not be out of reach.

@ Senna you got to give Jim at tune house a c call.

At another tune shop I went from Stock 260rwkw to 283rwkw tune only.

With a tune only my expectations would be more focused on drive-ability, fuel consumption and motor/drivetrain longevity. You will obviously see rwkw increases but that is a figure that can vary from dyno to dyno, it can also be falsified.

My advise on where to go is in my sig
