I can trace it to sometimes being after hard breaking to a complete stop.I have had one side of the rear brakes off (the side I thought it was coming from) and cleaned up excess dust and didnt see anything else.I've also had a crawl around and tried to nip up suspension bolts but everything seemed pretty tight.diff bush was changed at Fraud about 10k ago and looks ok. no cracks.could it be something else I missed suspension wise? shocks possibly (although I thought I would hear it more regularly)any pointers would be much appreciated.cheersPaul

I thought it was the diff bush. Cumberland Ford Blacktown checked it out under warranty and diagnosed a crook tailshaft joint. They replaced the tailshaft and all is OK now.PAH
