Well I finally got my PLAZMAMAN Street Pro Spec 2 Intercooler Kit in the mail the other day....Arrived about 6 o'clock in the evening. I was so excited I ran straight to the shed and grabbed the tools and started pulling the car to bits.

I was thinking to myself, Should only take an hour or two. Pretty simple swap over.. :3gears:

Well I was wrong..

Midnight crept up and I was still trying to fit the damn hot side piping..Damn factory spring clamps in a C#*T of a place taking up all my time.

Finally got all the old stuff removed and on with the new kit.

Had to cut and extend the wiring for the OEM sensor.

Not a hard kit to install just time consuming.

In the end I installed a 450x350x90 Bar and Plate PLAZMAMAN Intercooler

Hot side piping

3" Cold Side Piping

Under Battery Cold Air Induction

Very happy with how the kit looks and fits.

No clearance issues at all.

I added a Heat shield the rear of the POD to stop any water from finding its way through the wheel arches.

Even managed to fit my transcooler above the intercooler

Big thanks to Alex and PLAZMAMAN for all his ongoing advice and help. :stirthepot:

Did you have cut much to get the cooler in there? What size were the coolers inlet/outlet pipes?

Cheers.

No cutting at all..Just had to push the air con line on the right of the car back about 2cm to center the cooler...Was easy.. Just had to be careful not to pinch the line.

Outlets are 3" I think.. Its has the 3" Coldside piping and 2.75 Hotside

Hope this helps

Well I picked up my car from Bruce this arvo...Car pulls like a train and shifts very nice with the new trans and hi stall. Bruce only tuned it to 305.4 @ 13Psi due to the tune being very sound all through the rev range...Car feels very quick and the gears are very snappy. Im happy with the result. Will wait a few months I think then pump a few more pounds of boost into it....Still has plenty of potential for more power.Ill post up the dyno sheet when the misses bring my printer home from me sisters..

wayne2106, good results. What setup did you run before going to the Plazmaman Spec 2 kit?

I like this particular intercooler size because there is no cutting or moving AC lines to within a mm of them snapping.

SPIKO are you running the 450x350x90 or 500x400x90 core on your 10sec BA?

Thanks.
