Ive noticed that im starting to misfire when the engine hits torque and this is only after I had a full engine service and engine wash.

I have already replaced one with a second hand one because it was arcing out the side and misfiring at idle but it still seems to be misfiring in the same style afterwards when the engine is underload.

This all eventuated after my mechanic gave the engine bay a wash so he should be responisible and has supplied the other coil pack, im just wondering what the price of the coil packs are and if going through fraud is the best option.

cheers.

I think that the genuine Ford units are your best option. They aren't cheap at retail. I've heard of people paying up to $77 each. I can get them cheaper than that. I'll PM you.

Hey Mate,

There is a product called NC 123 it comes in a spray can, when you apply this product to all your electrical connections etc commonly used in Jet ski's, planes, helicopters it allow's you to wash the engine with no drama's..

I have seen mini electrical motor's operating under water in a bucket after this has been applied :turboboink:

I got a set of coil packs brand new ford ones for $180 off a guy on ebay. Each one was sealed in a genuine ford service bag. Worth keeping a eye out on ebay for these, although there are cheap variants on there. Just make sure you are getting ford ones.

"I have seen mini electrical motor's operating under water in a bucket after this has been applied :stupid: " used to run small electric motors in this way for r/c cars. nothing to do with any magic potion, just easy safe run in for small electric motors. Sounds crazy, but it works.
