yeah I am fingers crossed hoping for round 320rwkw. maybe a little bit more lol, we will see. mind you some f6s fg are pulling 360rwkw out of the std exhaust. makes you wonder what they can truly max out at. I have decided not to use the std intake anymore and are doing my own. and also battery relocation.

yeah I think the new cooler I am getting is closer to the front intrusion bar than the std one. but there is not much room to be gained though.

just an update. I am getting the cooler monday or tuesday this coming week, along with the injectors and cat. so being me I have spent the last 2 days pollishing the engine bay. ac lines, oil feed lines. acutator etc. and started on the paint work in the bay it self. man oh man is that a lot of work to get looking good!

I am still having trouble deciding whether I want the battery in the tray or under the front bumper... hmm??? oh and I am going a 3 inch intake. sounds better :) cant wait for tuesday!

Is that the standard fg cooler that goes in one side and out the other. If it is bout time they stopped stuffing round with that over the engine crossover crap. If it is the standard cooler what does it flow like compared to std BF mk2 as im looking to get a cooler like the one pictured in your first shot, not massive just piped correctly.

well I was pushing 275 through mine, and heat soak was an issue if I was stuck in traffic or after a long boosted run. the cooler itself is deceivingly smaller than what you think. I am not 100% sure on how much better it is than the standard bf cooler, but I have been told these coolers are just as good as the typhoon coolers on the bf.

if you where to put one of these into a ba-bf I think the pipe inlet and out let would be an issue. the outlets on the fg coolers are swept forward round radiator brackets. could be done though

UPDATE!!!!

last night I finished installing the intercooler, I dont have alot of pic of the installation but I have quite a few of the finished product. it looks amazing!!! the cooler is that big in nearly looks like standard raditator that has been pushed forward. you can hardly see the pipework from the endtanks in the front air dam. and it pokes right up into rhe top surround where the ford badge is. to put it bluntly its friggin massive lol.

putting the cooler in at home with the help of a friend was very easy to do. the kit is easy to install if you have a basic knowledge of mechanics. but still quite straight forward, chris has done a great job of the kit.

also I have been making my custom air box and battery relocation, I have nearly finished my air box. wich is currently templated out of perspecs (will be metal for the final product) and the battery gets relocated monday to the tray. also the 100cpi cat will be installed then too.

the final thing on the list is injectors and actuator. I should be getting them next week. and have it tuned in 2 weeks time :):) CANT WAIT!!!
