Was driving my T the other day when suddenly at the lights I tried to accelerate forward and to my surprise I go no where, engine revs highly and doesnt move. called my tuner after discovering my overflow tank full off wat looked like trans fluid. early diagnosis is radiator is shgged hoepefully that is it I just dropped it off on a flat bed to him, lucky the trans has been built or my tuner said I would prob been picking pieces up of the ground. fingers crossed there is no other damage.

If your car wouldn't move I'd say you've got more than the radiator to worry about. If there's oil in the coolant there's a fair chance there's coolant in the oil too.

Dunno how having a 'built box' would offer any protection from this sort of thing?

...hopefully I'm wrong though!

yep same thing happened to my yesterday.... slipping or free revving then clunking into gear, coolant full of trans fluid, trans fluid has coolant in it. common as f*ck with ba radiators, im hoping my trans is not screwed but im fair sure it will be with my luck
