Thought I'd share with you a price I got yesterday from my local dealership. White 2010 FG XR6T Ute with XR sports pack, hayman reece hitch, tinted windows, xr floor mats and full tank - $40,880 drive-away.

What do you guys reckon?

Thien

Paid 39400 for an 08 FG XR6T from a mitsi yard out in Towoomba, with 13,000klm on the clock, tow bar, bonnet protector, headlight covers, floor matts, and tech pack, that gives me bluetooth and ipod integration.

Got it in nitro blue too, my fav color, got it last August, have had no dramas with it, love it to death, am a former Expensive Daewoo born and bred man, but nothing Expensive Daewoo builds compares to this!!!! Bang for buck in my case

Privatefleet.com on the net drive away $38500.00 tech pac, sport pack, premium paint. They put out a tender for dealers to bid on. Cheapest way to buy a car

If you are going to love your car, buy a new one but chase a better price..

People say you can buy a secondhand F6 for a tad more, that all sounds good but then you will be also looking at an insurance hike, having to run premium and more then likely, a car that has gotten a good old flogging for 12 months.. Most of them are not privately owned, they are company cars and I know what I do to company cars... :stirthepot:

P.S. Make sure you get the Lux pack... it is allright :)

I was just quoted $40000.00 drive away last week for a 2010 fg xr6t and $59000.00 for an 09 gt last week in Brisbane so even with the upgrades your quoted price is way too much do heaps of home work and never settle for the first price they give you and be prepared to walk away!

Put a deposit on it today. I optioned for leather on top and it came to $42,000. Expecting it in 4 weeks.

Rubbish... I'm very tough at the salesman, that price on the road is not possible at retail. Not for a 2010 build. No way is a new build profitable at that price. Staff discount, maybe. But then, they'll only go to their lowest price when the pen is in your hand ready to sign... never just a fly in/out quote.

I'm not here to argue but that quote I had in Brisbane my local dealer said he would match too so maybe Ford are giving some good rebates etc as 12 months ago the best price I could get was $45000.00 and that was a manual? Maybe you need to get a little tougher!
