I thought it was pretty good to be honest ... but being that ive only had the car a couple weeks I guess im not to sure on what to expect ... but yer like I said ill defo be taking it to the local xr6t guru when I get some extra money ....just to see what they think about the tuning of the vehicle ! As long as you are happy with it that's all that matters. 17 psi isnt crazy high boost for these cars, just after a good hit make sure you let it cool down for a bit before shutting it off. I run 10psi max for 330rwkw and have less mods... I agree with ya after reading up on a few forums you would think with the mods I have it would have a bit more RwKw. guess ill have to start putting some cash away to have in dyno'd and have the local guru check out the tune and see what he thinks.and yer I defo let the car idle for a minute or so before shutting it off. Thanks heaps for the advise mate its all appreciated Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/66637-how-much-boost-is-safe-to-run-on-a-standard-bottom-end/page/2/#findComment-989062 Share on other sites

jaymen Member 57 Member For: 15y 11m 22d Gender: Male Posted 10/03/10 10:39 AM Share Posted 10/03/10 10:39 AM Its probably redlining by the sound of it revving it to high, I've had this happen to me when I leave in 1st or 2nd gear to long it redlines & starts to back firer or the traction control is on & the light flashes on the cluster..... Just take it easier.
