it is a little quieter once warmed up, but the noise is still there. My power is 340rwkw now, may go up in the future, but I built the engine so I didn't put a hole in the side of my block!

the normal rods from atomic are good for around 450rwkw I beleive - possibly upto 500 - but I'd go the fat rods if I was going past there

yeah thanks im just asking to make sure there okay,ive just had the 950kw done and waiting for paul at LMG PERFORMANCE to fit it, so I hope things go okay I just wanted to no if they r good.abit late asking I no but I have only just joined this site. and an awsome at that.

After fitting and all other bits and pieces needed I think it's up around $8k. They're only about $5k to buy so if you're handy with a set of spanners and can get trade price from Ford, it could be done a little cheaper.

remember the rebuild kit is cheaper, so if you haven't put a hole in your block and you want to go over 300rwkw in a BA - this is a good idea to save a bit of money, especially if you can do alot of the work yourself or with friends

hi all,I was just woundering if anyone could tell me how much it costs to rebuild the bottom end of a xr6 turbo using atomic rods etc.thanks for your help.

depends where you get the parts from, you can buy the parts you need seperately, or you can just buy the re-build kit from brad - I did mine for about $4000, but I did alot of it myself with help from mates - I live in campelltown and am happy to meet you somewhere for a chat one day
