Hey guys,

At last I figured out how to do a thread, :beerchug:

We have recently finished the build on my 08, fg xr6t. The build started a while back now, when I first spoke to kyle at 6boost, I was only making 330rwkw and just basically wanted something that was going to be nuts, and a bit of a sleeper. and something different seen on a FG xr6t

So far I have fitted an Atomic 698r motor, with the 998 v/springs, and bigger cams.

they have fitted a keas 3 speed c4, atomic chromoly flex plate, PWR trans cooler, fully manualised, with a b&m quicksilver shifter, with a 3500rpm stall. hardy splicer tailshaft, customized fuel rail, 2 044 fuel pumps, process west surge tank, process west stage 3 cooler, from the ba/bf model, all customized stainless piping, process west battery re location, PWR header tank, ceramic coated 6" intake pipe, with a 6" k&n filter, PWR power steering tank, 80lb seimens Injectors, magna fuel race regulator, straight through 4" exhaust with no cat, and 2 magnaflow mufflers,

turbosmart fuel pressure gauge, Garrett GT45 turbo, with 1.05 rear ta flange, turbosmart bov, 60mm turbosmart wastegate, and all sits on a ceramic coated 6boost split pulse turbo manifold.

All the work that has been done on this car, has been done by all the guys at 6boost. They have all done an amazing job, and spent endless hours on it, and probably sleepless nights..

it was worth it's weight in gold, this thing is a dream to drive, and just has so much balls,

the job they have done was second to none, as some people on here would probably know that, I could never have got a better job done anywhere else. the workmanship is just unbeatable

thanks alot to forcefed performance and tuning for tuning the car, I know jamie and kyle spent alot of hours sorting it all out, but turned out amazing in the end :spoton:

On 50/50 pulp/tol it made 520rwk, on 25psi, on 30psi and running c16 it made 567rwk, and just smoking the tyres like crazy.. if the thing actually got traction it would easily make over 590-600rwk.. :3gears:

I'm still yet to do a rear end, but just working on the funds again :) but will most likely do a 4link 9" setup.

if your wondering who did the bonnet, I'll put a link up of the guys who did all the work, turned out great.. thanks HMF toowoomba..

HFM Auto Styling, Toowoomba - Projects - FG XR6 Turbo Custom Bonnet

I.m still yet to do a run, but that will happen in good time, hopefully in the next couple of weeks if all goes to plan, and hope to have the fastest street driven fg xr in aus. I can always hope haha :beerchug:

hope you all like what you see, I am trying to get more pics up. but all the ones in my gallery are basically all the ones I have atm,

cheers

Well done mate.

It was about 6 months ago that Kyle told me this beast was in the works and ive kept an ear out to hear all of its updates. Bonnet looks great, do you get much heat coming out of it when you pull up?

Cant wait to go out for a drive alongside it.

Pretty sure this is the most powerful FG XR6T in the country, now all you got to do is have a crack at that fastest ET.

Will you give it a run down the 1/4 before the rear end is upgraded?

About time dude... :buttrock:

It has been a pleasure working with you.

Karl, from what I recall, it's not quite the most powerful FG.. XFT's FG F6 (with 655rwkw) would have that title, albeit it is a manual.

Can't wait until this thing gets to the track to show some of it's massive potential.

yeah mate, we should be running it very soon. the bonnet is not so bad, it should be alot better now that the underside has all been cut out, and yeah will run it without the new rear end first :buttrock:

ahh yeah mayb I will trailer it up there after I get the rear end done, I have raced there a few times now, when I still had the manual and only 330rwk.. but yes it's def in the line of things
