Yeah mate, you need to cut out the passenger side of the rear bar to fit them. Pretty easy to do, just use a bit of cardboard to trace the shape of the original cut out and reverse it for the other side and cut it out with an air hacksaw.

Hey guys,

First post here so go easy on me.

I just bought my 2003 BA XR6T and am looking to install the Typhoon body kit.

Do you know if this fits a quad exhaust or will I still need to cut some of the rear bar?

Also, What are the xForce quad systems like?

Thanks mate.... Glad to be a part of the community!! :)

I know bugger all about cars so I'm sure I'll be coming back here quite a lot.....

So any recommendation for quad exhausts? Not so much for noise but for extra grunt?

I have also seen a Typhoon bodykit (unsprayed) on ebay for $720. The guy is selling quite a few of them.... Strikes me as being very cheap. Stay away or bargain?

Ebay bodykits are fiverglass.. Never 100% lined up.. Alot people dont really care.. im one of them.. I bought a kit of ebay.. The rear bar didnt line up at all untill I have to do more fiberglassing and sh*t..

Too much of a hassle... If you want a decent kit, sprayed, installed ... speak with Bogan special .

Best thing to do champ is to search the website using the search bar on the top right.. youll find eveything you need as pretty much every single question you have under the sun has been answered in a thread..

good luck... :beerchug:

Honestly bro... .DONT BUY EBAY!

This coming from a guy who has done it.. Unless your good mates with a panel beater who will cut you costs, then dont...

Sorry for taking this thread off topic... Just one more question though regarding body kit:

How much would it cost a panel beater to fix the kit if it won't fit?

If it's still less than the $2300 Bogan special charge, then EBAY sounds the better option.... :S

ok well roughly.. if its sh*t quality, the primer, the sanding, the primer again, the fiberglassing, the putty... then paint, then sand then paint then clear coat.. try 600 per bar, then its abother 600 per side skirt, ... just search the threads mate... youll find some info everywhere... good luck
