I have come to a conclusion but I would like to really pin point what info I need to start installing my carputer again to the icc. can some one please assist with the questions below, - im most likely going to use the vga to cga rgb converter, I know some of the guys here are using this type. can some one assist with the wiring. a quick wiring diagram will be awesome - would a standard vga pci card run the factory icc screen, I have read you need a arcade vga. can some one help with this even a link will be good.VGA to CGA - RGB Converter - Converters - Arcade Video Game Sales by Highway Entertainment Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MeatWod Member 51 Member For: 17y 9m 1d Gender: Male Location: Baldivis Posted 18/03/10 10:47 AM Share Posted 18/03/10 10:47 AM (edited) Some video cards are able to run the screen with the assistance of power strip but because the screen hz isnt a standard sort of number in regards to pc monitors not all gfx cards can supply the correct signal, so arcade vga is your best bet or the RGB to CGA convertorIm currently using the RGB to CGA Convertor out of my asus eeebox as for the wiring diagram I followed the info on this pageCarputer for the Ford's Premium ICCthe diagram is for hooking it straight up to your gfx card but the pins are labled so you can work it out for the RGB convertor cable as they are labelled in the manual and also colour coded Edited 18/03/10 10:55 AM by MeatWod Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
