nah surge tank is not common. the whole lot will fit in front of the fuel tank and up out of the way. looks like I have next wed and thurs off work to go and fit up as much stuff as I can with the help of one of the boys from the workshop. I am pretty sure I have everything sorted but as we all now with stuff like this are always things we dont account for but hopefully I will get engine and gearbox in, intercooler and piping all plumbed and fuel lines done as well.

That'll be insane in a ute :turboboink:

How long since you've driven it...going by the three inches of dust it looks like quite a while!

xr2dy4 I hope it makes over 600hp at the tyres on pump gas. and yeah the guys at mre are pretty good. pete has been around a while and does an awsome job. they are helping me out heaps to get it on the road.

tab, I think I drove it june or july last year at the drag strip, my g/f drove it out there and back for me and august we pulled the motor out out. havent driven it on the street for about a year. I was starting to loose intrest because it is so easy to just fuel the dirt moto and go and ride that but im really motorvated again now the engine is built. id be stoked if it made it into the 500 club but at the end of the day it will make what it makes.

Slowly mate, just been waiting on an exhuast gasket which "should" be here this week (been waiting about a month) and have a big box of goodies comin from summit which "should" be here by now. have hopefully got this thurs fri off work to fit the majority of it up. got my process west fuel rail the other week and was rapt with that. the plan for this stage is to get it goin with manual and have some fun and go to an auto and a nine inch towards the end of the year. :beerchug:
