I have a manual over ride switch that I just leave on full time now. The cooler the better (makes all the difference). Mine is fitted inside the front bar on the right hand side. Have air flow holes drilled in the inner guard.

Do you have any more pictures of the setup at all? Especially where/how the new cooler is fitted under the car?Only reason I was thinking a thermo would come in handy, is because during long static burnouts on a warm day (eg. car shows) it can get pretty hot :(Well if your going to be doing a lot of burnout then yes you'll defiantly need a thermo fan. Unfortunately I never took many pictures when I was installing the cooler, but I'll post what I have.Right Guard: Engine oil cooler.Left Guard: Transmission oil cooler.Trans cooler lines passing the oil filter and oil filter sandwich plate. (I was jumping back into the left side again to keep on doing the supercruise rather than being in the right lane and having to get out). Was 35+ on the Sunday and I had aircon on most of the time too. I dunno that all might have made a difference, but all I know is that the temp gauge on Sunday went up to 3/4 which is the highest I've ever seen it and it went into limp mode once, which is enough to make me want to upgrade something in the transmission cooling department
