It is the little ball looking thing front centre of the dash between the air outlets for windscreen. I would guess that if it stopped working it would not activate the lights. Recks02 Member 2 Member For: 16y 5m 7d Posted 11/06/10 01:28 PM Share Posted 11/06/10 01:28 PM (edited) The auto headlights stopped working in my '07 Territory too and I got quoted $350 to replace the combo switch (warranty lapsed by 3 months, typical).I decided to have a look at the combo switch and found that a light grey wire at the base of the indicator stalk has come off. When you pull all the covers off you'll see that the wires are pretty tight when the stalk is moved up and down, so I'm assuming that this tension is what caused the wire to break off.I haven't bothered to fix this yet but nothing a bit of wire and solder won't fix.Hope this helps.
