I have been browsing these forums for AGES! trying to find a tutorial as to how to do this having heard too many conflicting stories as to whether I needed both a comp cover and backing plate or whether the 0.70 cover would bolt up to the 0.50 backing plate. Happy to say I bought it all today from MTQ Sydney for around $330 and fitted it in 10 minutes, mind you this was on a VL not a falcon. And for others info I didn't bother pulling the comp cover off before removing the backing plate I just undone the sprung clip and removed it all on one piece.
