Thank f*ck! I have been browsing these forums for AGES! trying to find a tutorial as to how to do this having heard too many conflicting stories as to whether I needed both a comp cover and backing plate or whether the 0.70 cover would bolt up to the 0.50 backing plate. Happy to say I bought it all today from MTQ Sydney for around $330 and fitted it in 10 minutes, mind you this was on a VL not a falcon. And for others info I didn't bother pulling the comp cover off before removing the backing plate I just undone the sprung clip and removed it all on one piece.

I know this is an old topic but does anyone know if the .7 cover makes the turbo any more laggier than the .5 and if so by how much. Just wondering as I can get hold of one if I want it and im wondering if its worth doing that's all. Any feedback would be great.
