erko, kinda, usually run continental contisports on the front of the daily rims, and sumitomos HTR z3's on rear ... so they are pretty grippy

Jeez, I feel so dumb trying to work out offsets for these cars, what will fit, what won't, etc. I followed the link Erko provided to an offset calculator (in another - pinned - thread) and can see how different the clearances will be when compared to stock, but my problem is knowing whether that difference in clearance will actually pose a problem or not! :idunno:

So, first, can anyone tell me whether an 8.5" front rim with +38 offset and 9.5" rear with +45 offset will fit a BA Mk1 sedan okay? And then, if you're feeling adventurous, could you explain to me how I can work out what rim width/offset combination will be okay to fit to the same vehicle please?! :spit:

tocchi, that looks farkin sweet. Best lookin FG I've seen! Congrats, looks classy, with a real race feel to it. Probably the closest thing to a v8 supercar I've seen without a kit/5 spokes itc. LOVE it!

18x8.5 +35 will fit fine on the front, any higher offset and you will most likely start rubbing on the upper suspension arm. Rears, not sure, was running 18x9.5 +35 no problems, could probably run a higher offset safely. Anything lower than a +32 on the fronts with a 8.5 and you will prob have to roll ya guards.

Awesome thread. Good to see some Aussie cars with some offset! I like the R34 GTR rims Tocci.

I have some Advan RS 18x9's with +22 offset on my R32 skyline. I'm going to chuck them on my new FG ute and I'll post up some pics. Not sure if they'll be practical though.

Well I put the Advan RS's on and don't think they'll work. Front have a tad too much offset, rear nowhere near enough. I think it will be very hard to find some wheel's and offset that will look good. Has anybody have pics of an FG ute with good guard filling wheels?

I think I will need to get something staggered around 19x8.5's +30 for the front and 19x9.5's +10. Anyone know of wheels with these offsets? If not maybe get a matched set and some 30mm spacers for the rear. Any thoughts on increasing rear track by 30mm either side?
