'now in saying that I came close but not close enough. now my car is not a slow typhoon I was thinking a 13.2 1/4 is fairly quick. anyhow what I need to do is beat him this weds night, what can I do between now and then to help me get that little advantage that I need. ie change Spark plugs clean air filter is there anything that I can do so I can show him that forced induction rules. PS he laughed about xr6 turbos saying how rubbish they are and they are always blowing up. now u can see I need to beat this guy.Cheers guys.(I cant get a tune between now and then) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/66361-help-needed/ Share on other sites

Any of our advertisers should be able to help. It's not worth doing anything silly that may cause a problem. After all, your car is stock and his is not.... "apparent stock XR8" lol.... most of our cars look stock!Even with a mild retune you should be quicker.Brian Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/66361-help-needed/#findComment-984226 Share on other sites

ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! I kill it standard... it has a better top end than me standard like if your already doing 80kms it would be kinda close... but I am pretty sure I'd still win... after just a tune it kills... I highly doubt your mates xr8 is really standard.unless I bought a freak xr6t... but then im still happy lol Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/66361-help-needed/#findComment-984710 Share on other sites
