have a capa flash tune2.

many modifications can be made but it is easy to do it wrong.

can I get some posts from people who have tinkered with their flash tune2 and gotten good returns?

global spark

independent spark ranges

auto shifts etc etc etc...

basically if you have done any thing to a flash can I get you to please post it up on this forum and let us know what your outcome was/how did it go...?

when you go to install tune before it begins the download it comes up with modify parameters...

what have people done to these parameters?

Are you doing your own tuning?

I read from your other thread that you had been been doing some data logging.

Is this a generic tune? Or a custom tune from a workshop?

Sounds like they didn't disable user changable data when they uploaded the program to the flash device.

My suggestion is DONT TOUCH IT. Too much timing will result in your engine internals coming out for air.

I agree with Headsex....reason being is that the generic tunes are very primitive and have reasonable amounts of spark advance as is...if you add more it just might go pair shaped!!

If you datalog some parameters then that will give an indication of how much scope you have for your own adjustment. But with no data (including AFR's that you can't get from the flash2)) on hand....best just leave it :-)

edit: just realised you must have a custom....not generic tune. So yeah, best just leave it!

capa flash tune with boost knocked back to 10 psi.

was a 10 psi tune with more breathing brings more boost.

so

where should my global spark be

where should my 0-2000 spark be

where should my 2000-4000 spark be

where should my 4000-6000 spark be

where should my 1-2 shift be

where should my 2-3 shift be

where should my 3-4 shift be

etc...

im not trying to tune this thing myself im trying to make the thing safe until I can get it tuned properly

if you are checking my posts youll see I have asked for peoples choice of tuners before

so who is up for a few pointers-no more you shouldnt ...etc...

just answers

if 'you shouldnt' is your answer dont post anything

I will keep an eye up on this topic to see if there are any takers

I am aware that screwing with this can create a driving warhead-I just want to know my car is safe

if no one posts anything I will not take offence, just want to see what I can do to safe guard the car.

thank you for your inputs all :buttrock::runaway::blush: . I hope there is some guidance for me to come back to.

Is there 0 options?

I have never played with them, but I'm under the assumption those values are "Adders"

Not sure exactly works and doesn't work with our falcons.
