They are only planned awaiting approval. Often they can be rejected but with our state governmetn, its a who knows affair.*mobile digital speed cameras operated by the RTA*high level speeding car forfeiture*annual registration fee based on km travelled (big for the trucking industry)*Some form of increased fee for driving in parts of Sydney (I think this will be the CDB toll/tax)*monthly rego payments via automatic direct debit (not sure what this will do)*no more rego labels *time of day tolling for all freeways/motorways with tolls in place(called something else on the harbour bridge/tunnel)*Increased rego fee if you live were public transport is available (more tax and how the fark they would work this one out???)Personally I think they will all come in eventually.I.B. Increasing tolls at the peak times is the same thing petrol companies do on public holidays.I.B.

However it is OK if such profiteering is either legislated or results in increased fuel excise revenue of course. They just announced up here that they're getting rid of rego labels. Posted 18/02/10 12:03 PM Share Posted 18/02/10 12:03 PM I'm just waiting for how the govt will spin this obvious grab for money*mobile digital speed cameras operated by the RTAhelps takes cops off infringments to catch serious crims, just think of how much safer out children will be*high level speeding car forfeiturehoons are evil mmkay*annual registration fee based on km travelled (big for the trucking industry)encourages you to take more public transport, so they can make more money off you*Some form of increased fee for driving in parts of Sydney (I think this will be the CDB toll/tax)help ease congestion of badly designed and over used city roads*monthly rego payments via automatic direct debit (not sure what this will do)Im sure it will be like insurance with pay extra for pay by the month*no more rego labels enviromently friendly solution to being a tightarse*time of day tolling for all freeways/motorways with tolls in place(called something else on the harbour bridge/tunnel)obvious money grab as most people travel during peak hour, they used this on the harbour bridge to convince people to travel outside of peak, but hasnt changed the amount of people using the bridge during peak, just increase revenue*Increased rego fee if you live were public transport is available (more tax and how the fark they would work this one out???)weird one considering every suburb in Sydney has some form of public transport, might be good for coutry areas

I think its good to have them saves hunting for VIN numbers ive already see an accident at a death trap speed/redlight combo.. and a learner fretting and jumping on the brakes rego should be payed at the end of the year based on odometer readings then again I can see these been rorted but if you dont drive your car why fork out for rego when you car sees more of your garage then state roads where they say your rego money ends up.. (inset " . " in there somewhere) My neighbour has a bf gtp parked in his garage 360 days of the year yet he prob still pays full rego

These people are far more dangerous than "Hoons"Why is it that our RETARDED RTA cannot think of anything but money making ideas, yet are the most pathetic at spending money in the right areas. How about ROAD SAFETY you pack of bureaucratic imbeciles I cannot believe that they are so focused on Hoons and speeding, when the main problem is driver education and enforcement of all the laws
