I don't want to go overboard on the power as the missus will be driving it mainly.

Yeah, I thought about selling the gear, but part of the reason I bought this car was for the gear, lol.

So which one is it? You either bought the car with all of this gear to make the most of it, or you don't want too much power because your missus drives it.

You obviously wanted this car because of this gear, so why not use it to full advantage? Your missus won't know the difference unless she floors that right pedal anyway. These cars are quite drivable when modded, and you can always keep a milder tune installed until you get behind the wheel if you have any concerns.

Carbon build up on throttle body?

Just thought I would pull of the cooler hose. Cooler side wasn't too bad, but the other side of the butterfly is coated in black sludge! Do you guys usually pull the trottlebody of the car to clean? I tried to best job possible whilst on the car but it is as a bad angle.

was this the plazmaman demo car that was for sale a month or two ago?

got some good gear on it I think they just set it up for show but kept it at stock power. so all you will need is injectors, fuel pump, valve springs, f6 cai, high flow cat and you'll have some very serious power.

get a tune and just fit some injectors and you will get past 260 easy, probs on quite low boost aswell

Yeah, that's the one. I would have had a flashbox and a tune by now, but the car came with problems :icon_ford: ....out of cash for the moment :hohum:

I think it would have something to do with the stock tune with the upgrade parts.

Justin at Blacktrack in Newcastle said that is usuall the case, but is surprised at how well this one runs...

Carbon build up is a common problem in XR6T's. Worth cleaning a couple of times a year from what I've read. Pull her off mate.
