Hi all,

I'm a recent convert form the dark side (that's right ex Expensive Daewoo owner). I've seen the light after buying my BA XR6T, I haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face for the last couple weeks now. Do you guys get together for cruises very often, I'm relatively new to the NT and don't know to many ppl up here. I was hoping to meet some hoons/ppl to have a drink and talk cars with, also looking for an escape from the misses and the little one.

When I was there, sixfan (Pete), Capo and NT Turbo (Mick) were good guys to have a drink with. You should message them directly. They don't drink alcohol, only raspberry cordial but you learn to live with it Mick has an interesting driving style that ensures he stays in front of any Holden, sixfan has bought a 1973 Lancer (or was that an Evo, can't tell the difference), Capo loves running boats in mangroves but they are good guys to have a chat/BBQ with. Although you now have the dreaded speed limit thing, it's still faster then Qld's 100. Have fun with your T there! Excellent car for NT roads.

Will be trying to organize another cruise later in the year, ether to the friday night drags or a blat down the Stuart HWY.

Hey that sounds like a plan. Did you have your car in at hidden valley recently? I think I saw it in the work shop? Drags sound good did you go to the bracket attack last week end? I thought it was an alright turn out, a the same token it was my first time at the drags it Darwin. let me know if your get anything up and running by way of a cruise, you can count me in. Cheers

No runs yet, waiting for the last of the humidity to bugger off.

Hello Everyone

I am a new member to this forum having recently sold my R33 Gts-t for a BA XR6T ute. I have to say I have no regrets whatsover with the swap.

I am currently looking at increasing the power of my car, (currently 256Kw after being ford flash tuned at the Horsepower Factory by the previous owner).

I will be posting up topics in the near future, so any feedback/ comments will be appreciated.

DRIFTING

NAMSC has organised 4 professional drifters from down south to come to Darwin and hold A drift School. The 3 day programme will be held on the 18th, 19th and 20th May. The cost to enter is $150.00.
