old rev head Member 17 Member For: 15y 10d Posted 15/02/10 11:57 PM Share Posted 15/02/10 11:57 PM I am in the market for a FG XR6 Turbo, I test drove a July 08 build date car last week and was very suprised with how noisey it was at around 40km/h. The current owner suggested it was tyre noise - the car is running standard 18 inch wheels and Dunlop tyres. Has anyone else had this issue? This is a common fault with the dunlop tyres . I spoke to a Ford Dealer and they suggested Kumo tyres would be quieter, Cheers. If anyone is aware of any Auto FG XR Turbos for sale, preferably in SA, please let me know.Speak to April at Jarvis ford at Gepps Cross she has a dark maroon one there for sale. Bad service, dont take the word "NO" very well and they like to bug you to hell with phone calls. Just my 2 cents.
