Hey Guys,

Was down at a Ford dealership today and spoke to a mate who works there, and he was telling me that in June or July, FPV will be releasing the GS with 22's all round. Not sure if the other models will receive the same treatment, but I would assume so. Has anyone else heard this? Just wanna know if there is any truth to this or not, as it sounds like BS to me.

I would say it is total BS, as 22" offer crappy performance and ride.

People only do them for bling, so I do not see FPV doing more than 20"s tops.

I believe they will be doing a 275 rear in the mid year update to cope with the blown 5lt.

I doubt they will even do a 20" x 35.

I have 19" x 255 x 35 on the front and they only just fit at the top of the control arm. And 275's x 30's on the rear. And they like to aqua plane in heavy rain.

20's with a 35 profile would be great. I really hope they do. But I doubt it.

Bloody sales man.

If you go to the FPV website and look at all of the images of the cars on the salt flats, they CLEARLY have 20" rims and they're a different design to the B series rims, but yet, they kept the same rims from BF to FG. Check out these pics:

Look at the profile of the tyre on the F6 here

Definitely 20's

Similar to the argents

Maybe they made a last minute decision to save the rim upgrade to the series 2..?

Nah, they look like the normal GT/F6 19" rims.

I have the same rims as pictured on the GT, so I do not know where you are getting the "CLEARLY 20" from :respeckt:

In my opinion, any wheels > 21" start to look stupid (not to mention sh1tter dynamics). Once I saw a riced up Accord with 24" rims - I can think of a million better ways to piss away money.
