I would like one for the sound of the 8 and the blower, economy would be terrible compared to the turbo though since its always on boost. THey should have gone twin turbos, now that I would have in an instant!

Besides the fact I could not afford a new blown 8 I reckon it would be a good thing if it actually happens.

However I would wait 2 years for some other poor schmuck to lose %50 of the purchase price before I got a bargain.

I'd love to but price wise I dont think so.

My xr6t ute cost 40k drive away with luxury pack and my upgrades cost $2k = $42 grand for about 370 FWKW.

the supercharge 8 will be gt spec (pursuit)so I will be looking at 60-70k which is way to much.

I may consider a ss ute with a supercharger pack which would total $50k drive away and give me 450+ fwkw. I figure that would be good value.

Hi Guys, first post here.

Just wondering why you guys would buy a factory Supercharged V8 in the future, but don't consider a current model V8 with a Capa Super Charger, just wondering if there is a reason, since most of you seem to have spent rather a lot of money on your Xr6T's and F6's already.

Thanks

I want both, but not from the ford stable, I want a Blown Expensive Daewoo V8, But I will keep the Foon too.

If you want a blown Expensive Daewoo join the hells angles, apparently they are quite good at blowing them up!!

I def think fuel consumption is going to be the main concern with this sc v8. I hope they keep the bonnet bulge too to disginguish the v8s to the 6's. but lets wait an see on how the performance figures turn out. its gonna get intersting if it all goes ahead.whoo cant wait.
