Hey

I am 17 and have only just got my license, the coming months to this I was in search of a car preferably a manual XR6/T. However after an extreme amount of searching for manual's I oppted to give for the ZF box, this narrowed it down to the BF/BF MK II or the FG's, I wasnt too keen on the FG's as it seemed way too pricey. I had really wanted the XR6T but being an inexperienced driver and the insurance costs I was pretty hesitant to get one, even though my mind was telling me too. In the end after alot of searching I found a 08 FG XR6 6 speed and a BF MKII XR6T, both were about the same price and similar k's, however with the fact of me only just getting my license and insuranc I went for the FG, it is an extremely nice car, the main reason was becasue I thought id get a good 2 years getting my experience up and then later buying a T, also the FG would have better resale value then if I were to purchase a BF, I couldnt be any happier with this car however I woulndt mind to hear your oppinions on the car I purchashed. I also snapped it up under the average market value which I was pretty pleased about

cheers

Wise choice I reckon. The NAs still ahve plenty of go, but you've got yourself an awesome cruiser with the highest safety rating out there...got to be happy with that. :wackit:

Mate nothing wrong with a NA falcon mate, especially an FG at that! I'd still have my NA 2005 BA XLS ute if it didn't go underwater. Would you mind telling how much you paid for it?

Probably one of the best cars you could chose to learn to drive in, enough power with great handling and reliable brakes. What colour did you end up getting?

Congrates on the car, NA fg's with the zf with sh*t all over a stock ba turbo with a 4 speed off the lights so dont worry about not getting a turbs. Just dont end up wrapped around a tree, its just making things harder for us p platers.
