I would upgrade the actuator also. that's what I was told limited mine to 290 odd - otherwise I would have gotten a 320ish I think.

my recomendations are:

New cat

Remove centre muffler

60lb injectors (or F6 ones if your not planning a future upgrade)

actuator

tune

optional:

New IC and Hotside piping

Intake (benifits are debatable)

New Dump (not required if using the standard turbo)

o.k. so I'll need injectors and if I go hiflow cat and remove middle muffler and get a hiflow air intake will a custom tune get me 300rwks on 98 premium? If the turbo isn't out of flow and there is fuel I can't think why not unless the fg intercoolers are crap that is

I still have my centre muffler and standard turbo with oem actuator. There are many ways to get these cars tune up as everyone is finding out.

I have a set of F6 injectors if you are keen (30,000km my ute went 290rwkw on them before upgrades)... if you are going to buy new, just spend the $660ish and get some ID 1000's... you'll never need to upgrade again.

theres a thread on here in the ute section of an XR6 50th anniversary - NOW tuned.. he went ID1000's, venom dump, growler intake, thermostat, stepped cooler and tune.

check it out, he went 299.4rwkw for not much at all..

cheers
