Rootster Just a large member member Silver Donating Members 3,125 Member For: 16y 3m 1d Gender: Male Location: sydney Posted 13/02/10 01:58 AM Author Share Posted 13/02/10 01:58 AM well the deal is done...dropping the car off on monday....so he can start work on tuesday..4 more sleeps to go..lol.Was impressed with his no bull sh1t additude approach...asked all the right question...listened to what I wanted from the car...As this is a daily driver..not chasing huge rear wheel kw...really all I want is a SAFE tune...and I'm prepared for the car to have less kw's if he thinks I'm putting the engine at any extreme risk...Didn't talk figures ,telling me it's going to have x amount of kw to stroke my ego..I give you a run before and a run after....So I'm happy with that... Btw while I was down there..as he is located almost in bankstown airport...Mediki ...racing this weekend at the 12 hour race...flew in...to pick up a tune...So the injection perfection prepared car will go up against the fpv prepared car...might be intresting viewing..Will keep you all informed how this all pans out.....Did I say 4 more sleeps to go.....Cheers rootster... Rootster Just a large member member Silver Donating Members 3,125 Member For: 16y 3m 1d Gender: Male Location: sydney Posted 17/02/10 12:02 PM Author Share Posted 17/02/10 12:02 PM (edited) Got my car back from injection perfection today.......Well what can I say...this wasn't going to be a huge rwk tune...As I was chasing low to mid range performance...And didn't he deliver....I have never driven a car so smooth to drive...No kick in the arse performance at 2000.rpm but a smooth drive from idle...Honestly so smooth that your fooled into thinking somethings wrong...I rang reg today and told him I wanted him to drive it....He and one of his ford mates hopped in and took it for a spin.....Reg and his mate were impressed.....With his mate who works at a ford dealer...saying it's the quickest and smoothest fg xr6t he has ever been in...So smooth it's more like a factory tune than a aftermarket tune...Delivering performance more like a V8 than a turbo six....I'm sure reg will add to this....Haven't any figures at the moment...will post them once I get them....Over to reg..
