If you see a Venom Red T with red numberplates YXR*** cruising around Gungahlin give us a wave (not a ticket though... ). If your the guy with the appropriately ending numbers after YXR then I saw u the other day at the Mall. I had just mentioned to the fiancee that I would try and get the plate that 30 secs later I saw on your car. B*stard !!

I was surprised it was still available when I applied for it back in December. If you send an e-mail to roaduserservices@act.gov.au asking for a particular plate they will usually get back to you within 24hrs with prices and availability. Velvet Glove Team Blueprint Member 532 Member For: 21y 10m 17d Posted 01/10/03 03:10 AM Author Share Posted 01/10/03 03:10 AM Yeah I rang em the other day to see if 'XR06T' was available and for how much. They said it was and for $320 !!I thought you beauty and rushed down there knowing, in the back of my mind, that they had got that wrong but if I could sneak it in for $320 I would. Turns out I was right. I couldve had it for just over $1500 but no. too much for me. I think they must have thought I said something like 'XR063' which wouldve been $320.I will try and be imaginative but think I'll stick with the YCY***. A lot of guys I know with personalised plates are continually having them flogged no matter how hard they bolt them down

XR240 is gone - on a Phantom XR6T ute. I don't think the guy that owns it is a member here, I've seen him around and given him a wave a couple of times. I wonder if he had to pay $1500 for his plates?Good to see another ACT member taking delivery of their XR6T, we might have to think about another BBQ cruise........going by the last one Falchoon organised, the next one should be a cracker! Yes that would be good, don't be shy in organising something mate! Preferably not October though, too busy already with Bathurst, SMS and Ford Factory Tour.
