Cool, I've never heard of a power increase just from Ethanol, considering its lower energy content, but cool if it somehow helped, lucky you.

I have done heaps of research on Ethanol and Biofuels for work, but happy to be overruled on this.

I dislike using food for fuel while others starve to death, based on retarded climate science.

I.e Lets say we don't use sugar and wheat to make fuel because it's food (the plan eventually). How can we claim that the carbon "captured" while growing food can be claimed again by when burning the waste product?

P.S. The reason the Ethanol limit was capped at 10%, according to the environment minister was...

“Testing of 20 per cent ethanol blends revealed a number of performance and durability concerns, including stalling, an increase in exhaust gas temperature, carbon deposits, as well as distortion and blistering of the carburettor diaphragm. Some corrosion of metallic engine components and changes to plastic and rubber hoses were also found.”

Maybe watch your exhaust valves.. They destroyed a few in durability testing.

Looks like the only research you have done is what so called experts are telling you.

The benefits of E85 are only achieved with the tuning of the ECU, or vehicles produced with flex fuel capabilities IE: Some SAAB and Volvo.

Ethanol burns colder not hotter, ethanol does not produce more carbon, it will infact clean carbon from your engine and clean the rust from your fuel system.

E10 was mainly produced to lower the end user fuel cost when the oil price was sky rocketing a few years ago.

Petrol companies still make a massive profit on it though.

And I made 297rwkw@17psi on pump, then made 363rwkw@21psi on E85. Now making 390rwkw@25psi.

I get what you say about using recources for fuel, when others are starving, but that's like saying that you dont want to earn the ammount of money that you do, when others in sweat shops in poor countries are earning 5c a week.

the mismanagement of resources is not something those of us in the western world have any control over.

nor is there any way we can control it. ive seen tons and tons of crops being burned, to keep the demand high and the price higher, but me grabing a hose and trying to put it out would make no difference to the worldwide practice at all.

my using 1850L or so of ethanol a year has no bearing what so ever on the management of the world recourses, but if it makes you feel better than I have no prob with that either.

yeh mines still same old running strong as mid year should be heading back to the drags for another crack at a better time and hopefully should have a few more mods done by then see what happens
