some of us in sa have been using it for a while and have not had any issues. my tune is not on the brink of detonation, as bruce always leaves a margin of error, so a small difference in octane rating poses little problem. plus I always get mine from the same supplier so its less likely to be as varied as sourcing from numerous servo's.

separation of parts of the mix? mate its in a car. they move quite a bit when being driven. I think it will remix accordingly....:buttrock:

Sorry, I can't answer that question, but I belive there are quite a few factors, temperature being one and how much moisture it may have accumulated before it got to your jerry cans.

Don't take my post as knocking the fuel, it was not meant to do that, it was more to enlighten some of possible problems that may occur.

It is not wise to keep it for any length of time, ie sunny week end type of car or buying it in bulk and keeping it for extended periods of time.

The same used to apply for guys that used methanol in their drag cars, they would empty their tanks between race meets to eliminate some of the possible problems.

fair enough. I havent experienced any probs yet, but would always recommend anyone talk to their tuners regarding potential problems with e85.
