im getting an e85 tune this week, so started looking at where I could get it in adelaide. found a place that sells it in 200L drums and asked for a quote.

$480 plus freight.

$2.40 a litre are you kidding me? I thought it could be had for as low as $1.00 recently.... wheres everyone getting it from in adelaide?

Not always guaranteed.

The Sydney servo at Rozelle was out of E85 for a couple of days last week. Not good if you are almost empty when you reach the servo!

I think you can buy it through Bruce Heinrich, no idea on price and I'm sure some of the other guys will be along to confirm or correct me shortly.

true Brian, I had a chat to the guy behind the counter while I was there the other night, he said they are only ordering 10,000L at a time due to the hydroscopic nature of the fuel. He said they now understand what most people are using it for and they can appreciate that customers don't want dodgy fuel.

My two mates that run E85 in their weekend cars (still street driven, not dedicated track cars) do a run probably once every 2 weeks depending on use. They work 15mins from Roselle so its easy for them to make a phone call before they take a few drums and stock up.

It really is a brilliant fuel, as long as you don't need to go for long distance trips...

There is actually talk of it being pulled entirely from the market LOL......

I wouldn't be building my whole car around it at this stage..... Until the powers that be make their intentions entirely clear :spit:
