This is made by breaking down the long chain cellulose molecules in the waste parts of the plant such as sugar cane stalks.As far as I know all the edible bits of the plants are used for food still. With advancements in technology, other feedstocks are being developed such as cellulosic biomass, trees and grasses."BAAYou are right that the CSR refinery uses molasses to make it's ethanol. They list that as a by-product from sugar processing. No idea what bundy rum is made from so you may be right about that.
