Hi im going to get my exhaust done on my 2003 xr6 turbo just wonder witch is better to be removed the center or the rear.

I think alot of pl do the center.

So I was jujst wondering if there is anyone that has dont the rear and if so what noise does it make.

I took my car to an exhaust man that I know and he said he would remove the rear if any for $150.

Just donno what way to go.

ps how do I make a garage in here with pics of my car.

They drone like a b1tch without the rear, don't do it. :innocent:

You need to be a donating member to have a garage mate.

Cheers,

For a T or N/A?

The centre muffler in a T is a dyno proven gain of 10 odd rwkw's.

But on N/As I think people normally go the rear just for noise.

My old man removed the rear muffler on his BA futura, sounded like a wet fart through a didgeeridoo on anything above idle and droned horribly when cruizing.

I got my centre muffler taken out yesterday 2005 BF turbo ute and had the same thing done to my old nov 02 Xrt sedan, both sound similar from the outside but the ute is louder inside the cab, im guessing the tray with the hard lid acts like a bit of a amp, but it doesnt drone oar anything on the highway, should be able to get it back on the dyno soon to see what difference it makes
