A major draw back for any performance car. Edited 10/02/10 06:20 AM by Benji_vs

Dont take any notice of it. The Supercharged Aurion is for little boys and old men who dont have a clue about performance cars. Be a man and get the Ford Turbo. Toyota has hardly proven themselves in the performance category IMO. With the exception of the 2JZ-GTE, but what have they done since (sorry that shouldn't have even been mentioned in the same post with the Aurion ). Consider that serpentine belts were developed to reduce the overall load on engines, as one continuous belt doesent require as much energy to turn as many smaller belts all coming off the one crank. The reason for not including a separate belt may be as simple as a 3.5L V6 being under considerably more strain than a nice big LS or Modular V8 when turning a supercharger.I suppose we'd be in the same situation if the turbo went in one of our cars anyway Just buy the T. I don't think Camry's / Aurion's have such a cult following and you can't go on awesome cruises with thirty or fifty other T's in convoy at the same time.
