Easiest path is straight to atmosphere innit?

If you put a hole in your pressurised intake pipework would air not rush out?

It's as simple as that really, like a hole/ crack in the pipe, pressure reduces instantly.

Best protection against wastegate failure was what I was told.

I have a boost fuse on my BA-T but unlike the Nizpro unit mine plumbs into the vacuum line from the bypass valve to the manifold and when the un-desired boost is reached the unit opens the bypass valve to release the dangerous boosty stuff...

The big difference here then is that the the bypass valve stays open until vacuum is again applied (throttle) robbing power to the engine.

This is a failsafe more than a working fix. I dont think the boost fuse was real cheap either at over $150 I'm sure.

As I said, all these non essential safety parts or whatever you want to call them can be removed and fitted to something lse or sold off upon selling your cars so they are basically win win and peace of mind

Yeah it does mate - don't think the auto clutch packs are gunna last real long

Well I've decided it's finally time to bite the bullet and get the diff bush done . . . . . and while the cradle is out, every other bush in the arse end will be replaced. Superpro all round and new shockies in the rear. Big job, big $$$$ but will be worth it for the extra control and grip as well as less bloody clunking from the factory bush. 87k's on it now so it's time for a birthday.

Will post up the results when it's all done in a couple of weeks

back on the dyno, fuel rail fitted and a fair bit of restriction taken out of the exhaust. Hopefully dynosheet and timeslip to come on the weekend
