Yeah mate yours is next in line, mine would have been out a week ago if the parts arrived when they should have. Very happy with the amount of effort Dan put in, car left his workshop at 5pm yesterday as he wanted it 100% before it left. It doesn't feel much quicker with an extra 100hp - ie still streetable and the lack of boost spike between gears will be nice on the auto and my tyres as well as engine. But it pulls hard and I'm confident of 11's on everyday street tyres. I can't work out how to get pics from my phone so I'll take some with the camera tomorrow.

yeah they were saying it was taking a while to get the valve, it turned up friday arvo or something.

dan is very particular when it comes to tuning, he makes sure they are spot on before he lets them go.

Does the over boost valve just keep boost constant, like another waste gate? Sounds pretty usefull, do you just set it to a psi and that's what it stays at? Or can it be made variable?

It's like a pressure relief valve on an air compressor tank mate, set it to whatever psi and if the pressure tries to go over it then it will overpower the spring and bleed off boost. It is adjustable, while the tuner was trying to find out where it cracked he wound it back and ran it up the dyno, kept winding it back til it would bleed off on the dyno, first time it went off I watched the chart sit dead flat at 16.3psi. bloody good bit of gear. I suppose you could use it as you described to keep boost constant, this one was put on when the tune was 95% done, it's mainly there to stop the boost spike between gears that the auto's get. Was mainly to protect engine but it's a lot better on the gearbox as well and less chirpage between gears too. Has a big spring on the back and a screw to adjust it, with a locknut.
