MrBean Member 400 Member For: 18y 8m 24d Location: Melbourne Posted 26/03/10 10:24 PM Share Posted 26/03/10 10:24 PM (edited) Both of these shops do dyno runs in 3rd for the ZF gearbox in the turbos, I believe it is a safety thing with 4th gear getting to 230 (apparently ) at the revs the dyno dynamics printout goes up too. That is correct, approximately- we had mine on Nizpro's dyno yesterday, and were exceeding 220km/h in 4th. Dave doesn't want to tune on the current old (and somewhat worn) dyno, so we will have a go at 400rwkw in a few weeks time, when the new dyno is in.Good going on your car, Mate, power is spot-on for 16 psi boost - if memory serves, I did around 368rwkw on mine on either 16.5 or 17psi boost, and 100ron fuel, so plenty of timing advance present. Has since had it detuned to enable me to safely run in the motor, and on 98ron - sitting at a lazy 320rwkw currently.I just luv these sleepers though. Our's could be twins, I have a Lightning Strike BF F6 UTE - goes pretty well.Enjoy the ride (responsibly though!) there are a lot of ponies, and it takes a light foot in cool, damp weather.Have a good one.
