Hey Guys,

Upgraded my turbo to a .70 housing etc but now the issue arises with stock crossover, I have a pod filter sitting at home that can go on the front of the mouth but then how do I block of the crossover hole? What have people been using?

Or has anyone made a bigger turbo piping to crossover for this kind of mod?

Thanks.

Invest in a good piping system mate... Shortening the inlet tract is great for response too!

Sounds like you already have a decent intake / cooler, but if your not happy, id look at upgrading to a full intake / cooler system from Plazmaman / RAP1D / Process West / Nizpro.

Can I ask why you upgraded the compressor cover when you are still utilising the stock crossover?

Doesnt the .70 A/R cover have a 4 inch inlet? How have you connected the stock crossover to turbo pipe with this in mind?

Yeh I wasnt aware of the 4inch inlet at the time of buying, looked into everything except what I should of looked into.

Atm im going to use the pod filter straight out of the mouth. When I get some cash together I suppose I'll use a new crossover... Whats everyone using with the modified turbo etc?

I would say for those have modded the stock turbo or upgraded, they will have an airbox / pod / intake pipe straight to the turbo.

I would also say for those that have modded the stocker or upgraded turbo's - the stock crossover is loooooooooooong gone!

Again, you need to invest in some custom piping for your HDI cooler, or upgrade to a good full intake system by one of the sponsors that have been mentioned above.

Again, iv got to ask - what made you upgrade the compressor housing??

I upgraded the compressor housing due to new turbo system as old one died.

So bought new system which was high flowed with the bigger housing etc.

Which sponsors also do full intake systems?

Yeh, the 4" intake kit / Airbox / Battery relocation from RAP1D.

The silicon joiner from the 4" pipe does join up to the standard 3" compressor cover inlet.

You may need to request a straight 4" joiner, im not sure.

I have this intake.

You will need to get rid of the stock crossover to utilise this!

Let me know how you go, would be interested to see if it needs a 4" joiner.
